Terms of Service

1. What xchng is

xchng is a venue where people list items and exchange them directly with each other. No money changes hands through xchng and we are not a party to any trade.

2. Trades are between traders

You are responsible for what you list, what you offer, and what you accept. We do not inspect items and we make no promises about their quality, condition, safety, or legality. Disputes are resolved between traders.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older. One account per person. You need at least one active listing to place offers. You trade under a pseudonym; impersonating others or operating multiple accounts is not allowed.

4. Meetups

Trades complete in person. Use public places and the safe exchange practices we suggest. Confirm completed trades in the app so ranks stay honest.

5. Prohibited items

No weapons, recalled goods, counterfeits, live animals, stolen property, or anything illegal to sell or give away in your province. We remove listings and accounts that break this.

6. Moderation

We may remove content, suspend accounts, and act on reports at our discretion, to keep the marketplace safe and honest.

7. Changes

We will post updates to these terms here and note the date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
